Expert Service · Results
“We need the result, not another tool someone has to learn.”
You get the finished analysis. Your experts simply sign it off.
A peak without an assignment, a mass balance that does not close, an open ICH M7 question: you send us the data, we deliver the report with its reasoning. Your team does not have to learn a single tool.
30 minutes on Microsoft Teams with the CovaSyn team. If it is not a fit, we will say so.
| Peak | t (min) | Area % |

| V1 | 2.1 | 0.09 |
| V2 | 3.4 | 0.24 |
| API | 6.2 | 99.15 |

If nothing changes
What waiting analyses cost.
- Analyses sit waiting until someone has time for them.
- Projects wait for results from data that was measured long ago.
- A tool is introduced for a one-off question and never used again.
How we help
From brief to finished report.
We clarify the task, the data and the form of the result, work with our tested tools and deliver the finished report.
- 01
Initial call
What you need and whether we can deliver it
- 02
Feasibility and scope
Task, data and form of the result put in writing
- 03
Execution
We run the evaluation, typically within 5 working days once we have your complete data
- 04
Result
You receive the report or analysis
- Save time
- Nobody on your team has to learn the tools or be taken off other work for it.
- Save costs
- No licence, no setup, no additional position. You pay for the result.
Evidence
Measured, not claimed.
- Without CovaSyn
- 14 to 41%
- With CovaSyn
- 76 to 92%

Suggestions for column, gradient and retention time in HPLC
By problem
Problems we solve for you.
Spectra interpretation for NMR, MS, IR and UV/Vis
The spectra have been sitting on the desk for days, and nobody has time to assign them properly.
See solutionIdentify an unknown impurity by LC-MS
A peak has appeared above the identification threshold, and we do not know what it is.
See solutionHPLC method development with fewer scouting runs
We need a new HPLC method, and scouting is eating up weeks of instrument time.
See solutionAnalytical method transfer and validation for HPLC
The method runs at the sponsor's site, but in our lab the peaks no longer separate, and the original column is discontinued.
See solutionExtractables and leachables assessment: identification to toxicology
The extractables study produced a long peak list, and for most peaks we have neither a name nor an assessment.
See solutionForced degradation study: degradation products and mass balance
The mass balance in our stress study doesn't close, and we don't know where the missing part went.
See solutionNitrosamine risk assessment: identify and justify NDSRIs
The authority wants to see our nitrosamine risk assessment, and we don't know whether our API can form an NDSRI.
See solutionStability data evaluation: detect OOT and estimate shelf life
One result in our stability study looks different from the earlier ones, and we don't know whether it's a trend or just scatter.
See solutionClose OOS investigations faster and audit-ready
We have an OOS result, the batch is on hold, and the investigation hasn't reached a conclusion for weeks.
See solutionClear the batch release backlog: review release data
Batches pile up before release because reviewing the data takes days every time.
See solutionSolve a solubility problem before you run out of material
Our API won't dissolve properly, and we have been trying solvents for weeks.
See solutionCrystallization process design: cooling or antisolvent
Our crystallization yield is too low, and we don't know whether to cool or use an antisolvent.
See solutionDesign of experiments (DoE): from design to analysis
We have too many factors and too little material, and nobody on the team is sure which design fits.
See solutionProcess optimization and process capability (Cpk, Ppk)
Our Cpk is too tight, and we don't know which parameter drives the variation.
See solutionSynthesis route planning: retrosynthesis and route scouting
We have the target structure, but no route we want to rely on yet.

Who it is for
Analytics, development and regulatory.
Analytical, QC and CMC teams in pharma, CDMOs, contract labs and specialty chemicals in the German-speaking region.
Working in a regulated lab? Quality agreement, supplier questionnaire and audit are covered in the initial call.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What can you analyse?
Spectra (NMR, LC-MS, IR, UV), unknown impurities, ICH M7 assessments, stability data, HPLC methods, forced degradation studies and mass balances, solubility and crystallization, and design of experiments. Whether your question fits, we clarify in the initial call.
Who signs off the result?
Your experts. You receive a report that your team reviews and signs off.
Do we have to install anything?
No. You send us the task and the data, we deliver the result.
How reliable are the results?
14 to 41% without CovaSyn, 76 to 92% with CovaSyn. Measured on MolecularIQ, an independent benchmark we did not design (ICLR 2026, arXiv:2601.15279, Klambauer Lab, JKU Linz). Every result comes as a reasoned report that your expert reviews and releases.
Does CovaSyn set anything up at our site?
No. You receive the finished result and nothing is set up at your site. If something should run at your site, such as evaluation workflows, automations or the tools on your own servers (Self-hosting), that is Expert Service: Systems.
Can we try it for free first?
No. The Expert Service starts with the initial call. If you want to see what a result looks like first, you find typical lab questions on publicly known compounds under “Example evaluations”, every number computed and checked.
What do we need to provide?
The raw data or exports from your instrument (for example FID, mzML, CSV or a PDF of the chromatogram), the structure or molecular formula if known, and two or three sentences on the question. We confirm in writing after the initial call exactly what your case needs.
What does it cost?
That depends on the task, the amount of data and the form of result you need. After the initial call you receive a written offer.
Where is our data kept?
Hosted at Hetzner in Nuremberg, data kept in the EU. No training on your data. Deletion on request within 30 days, backups included.
Can we use the report in a GMP environment?
Yes, as the basis for your assessment. For evaluations in a GMP environment we sign a quality agreement on request, answer your supplier questionnaire and accommodate a supplier audit. Every report states the input data, calculation path and tool version. Assessment and release stay with your QA.
Who at CovaSyn stands behind the result?
We are responsible for the evaluation and its reasoning, your expert for the assessment and release. Every report is checked before dispatch by an expert holding a doctorate. How we handle follow-up questions and rework, we clarify in the initial call.
